Emily Brammer
President and Founder
Ms. Brammer founded Axon Advisors, LLC in 2006 and has served as President since its inception. Ms. Brammer specializes in healthcare market intelligence, equity research services, and network innovation. Prior to founding the company, she worked for MDRxFinancial, a healthcare data research firm in New York, New York, where she developed novel data products and directed expert networking services for institutional investor clients.
Ms. Brammer received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame and completed two years of military training at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Michael Wolz, MD, JD
Scientific Advisor
Mr. Wolz is Scientific Advisor at Axon Advisors. He has a wide variety of experience in the healthcare and legal sectors including research in dermatology, vascular surgery and plastic surgery. Previously, Mr. Wolz worked on international capital markets transactions at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London.
Mr. Wolz holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Oxford, a Juris Doctor from University of Notre Dame Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Arizona State University. He has earned numerous high scholarships and awards for his academic work in law and medicine. Mr. Wolz is a member of the New York State Bar.
Alexander Fleiss
Managing Director
Mr. Fleiss develops and implements Axon Advisors's strategic plan in the most cost effective and time efficient manner. Prior to joining Axon Advisors, Mr. Fleiss co-founded the quantitative hedge fund, Rebellion Research Partners LP. From May 2005 to May 2008, Mr. Fleiss served as the Chief Executive Officer of Rebellion Research and is currently the Executive Chairman.
Mr. Fleiss also spent six years as a securities analyst for the New York based hedge fund, KMF Partners, L.P. During his time there, he covered a wide range of industries and was mentored in securities analysis by Laura Sloate, founder of Sloate Weissman Murray & Co. (recently acquired by Lehman Brothers). Additionally, Mr. Fleiss held an analyst position at The Strong Capital Management's Value Fund.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Art History, and Fine Arts from Amherst College.
Lawrence Wang
Chief Software Architect
Mr. Wang manages the design, development, and maintenance of Axon Advisors's technological infrastructure. Prior to joining Axon Advisors, he worked as a senior engineer at Panther Express, developing it from the prototype stage into a thriving Web content delivery network with over 400 corporate clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Columbia University School of Engineering.
